Apart from the engineering  departments, Government Engineering College, West Champaran has separate supporting departments which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.  Physics, Chemistry,  Mathematics and English are taught to the students of Engineering streams in their first and second years.

The departments are marching forward to achieve excellence in every field of its specialization  by conducting seminars, guest lectures and workshops on the latest developments.
